My problem with Winter in Vienna? My inner clock always gets tricked into thinking Winter ends after the holidays are over.
For the past 10 years, fitness has been a part of my life. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Meaning: For most of my adult-life, I have worked out.
It’s that (dreaded) time of the year again. The time when even I have to come to terms with the fact that bare ankles will no longer do outside the comfort of our heated apartment.
‘Twas the week before Christmas… and I could not be more excited about the thought of being home with my family 7 days from now.
Here’s the deal: While I preach about all these alternatives to wearing black during Winter and am constantly looking for lighter colors to keep me warm, fact is that nothing is quite as easy (and timeless) like an all black ensemble.
Aside from the fact that I spend every free minute of my time researching interior design ideas, home accessories and furniture for our new apartment, it is also the category that I currently spend most of my money on.
If there is ever an appropriate time to wear sequins, this is it. “This” being the last days of the year.
Not to brag or anything, but I already have the Christmas gifts for all the important ladies in my life sorted.
A tone-in-tone color scheme is my personal way out of a rushed morning with “nothing to wear”. It works in all sorts of directions.
I always have and always will appreciate a good deal. Even though I don’t mind occasionally splurging on items that make my heart skip a beat, I feel like the joy is even greater when you know you saved a good amount.
