Vienna is famous for it’s many traditional balls. While the peak of the ball season is usually January and February with the world-known Opera Ball, June also has something amazing to offer when it comes to Vienna’s ball culture:
Just before heading to Paris earlier this week, Kathi and I stopped by La Mercerie in the 9th district for some coffee and a croissant to share.
I am not one to shy away from telling others how much I love my beautiful hometown Vienna. It seems that the longer I live here, the more the love grows.
Even without traveling, I am usually well aware of how blessed I am to call a beautiful city like Vienna my home.
When it comes to shopping, I rarely shop offline anymore. It’s not that I don’t like going into stores and boutiques, but much more the fact that I enjoy the freedom shopping online gives me.
On Monday, Kathi and I finally had a chance to try Slow Tacos by the Danube Canal for the first time.
Sometimes, it amazes me how great of a city Vienna truly is. Not only is it a beautiful place to call home (I adore living here), but also a worldly city that hosts some amazing, international events.
Some experiences are simply #bucketlist worthy. Whether or not you live in Vienna, the Opera Ball is definitely one of those things.
