shades of autumn

A tone-in-tone color scheme is my personal way out of a rushed morning with “nothing to wear”. It works in all sorts of directions. Go with all black for a darker look that can easily be dressed up (a la “just add heels and red lips”) or with hues of beige or camel with golden accessories for a day at the office. I call it shades of autumn. Necessary pieces? A turtleneck sweater, high-waisted jeans, black lace-up boots and a long coat – either in elegant wool or a more casual puffer version. And don’t forget a pair of statement earrings to do the trick. Aka an instant touch of daytime glam.
