Chanel Mules: 50mm logo mules - Bikinis & Passports

The Big Easy

It is no secret that I am a major denim girl. I love a good pair of jeans more than most other items in my closet and it is usually my go-to choice. No matter if I am getting dressed for an event (a blazer and heels usually help to make denim look less casual) or am heading out for a green juice on Sunday. I wear jeans with sneakers, I wear jeans with heels, with sandals and I wear jeans with my new Chanel mules, of course. The mules were a souvenir from a recent trip to Paris. They are beyond comfortable and the 5cm block heel is almost like walking in flats. The matte soft black leather with the ton-in-ton embellished logo is elegant while still pairing well with a more casual look and it is a pair that I haven’t seen around much – which I love!

When in doubt: Wear Denim

Why is this post called “the big easy”. Easy: Because it is a perfect example of an outfit that never fails (for me personally). A simple sweatshirt without a print or logo is easy to dress up. A pair of light denim, frayed at the bottom but without holes, is easy to style in the most versatile ways. A pair of comfortable mules with a small heel is easy to wear out to grab a green juice on a Sunday, just like the same pair will work with a long slip dress for date night. In other words: the big easy.

Lately, I have been really happy. I don’t know how else to put it. It is hard to find the exact reason or words to describe the feeling, but after a very travel-intense month in April with barely any time at home or with Mike (aka my rock), May has been such a welcome change…

Here’s the deal: While I preach about all these alternatives to wearing black during Winter and am constantly looking for lighter colors to keep me warm, fact is that nothing is quite as easy (and timeless) like an all black ensemble. 1. Liebe Vicky,
die Mules sehen sensationell aus! Würdest du die Slingback Pumps (besonders vom Tragekomfort her) empfehlen?
