OUTFIT: NYE + the day after
Even though I think that it is not necessarily a must to celebrate New Year’s Eve with a big party, I do find myself a bit nostalgic when it comes to the 31st of December. A new year always brings so much motivation, resolutions for the New Year and wonderful memories of a past year. No matter if you have a romantic date with a special kiss at midnight planned, a girl’s night with champagne and confetti or an elegant dinner party with friends – there are plenty of reasons to get dressed up, right? After all, we want to kick-off the New Year in style! Together with s.Oliver, I have put together a look I’d love to wear on NYE. A simple recipe of some stripes, a helping of sparkles and glitter, an amazing key-piece (in my case the stunning white coat) and a pair of timeless heels makes for the perfect NYE outfit, if you ask me!

If your NYE was so great that you are stuck with aching feet from dancing all night and a pounding head from a bit too much champagne the next day, then the sofa, a good magazine and big cup of coffee are your best friends on January 1st. Along with a comfortable outfit, of course. My go-to items are a chunky oversize sweater and leggings, which may be leftovers from the night before – but nobody has to know! Bonne Année!

I don’t see the point in throwing a huge party on 31st either,because somehow I was always a bit disappointed because the parties were not as huge as expected,so I prefer to have a quiet dinner with friends and enjoy the fireworks at 12 🙂
