BEAUTY TALK: red lips for NYE.
Red is certainly not a color that you’d associate with me and my style. I rarely wear red (except one time last Summer) and usually prefer more muted shades for my lips. New Year’s Eve, however, is all about that midnight kiss, and even though red lips certainly aren’t the most convenient thing when it comes to kissing, I think that December 31st is the one day a year that red lips should be on everyone’s agenda. Myself included! And since the feedback on this selfie was so great, I decided to film a little make-up tutorial for Douglas to share my personal take on red lips for NYE. Tom Ford lipsticks are such a wonderful luxury! I think you should wear red lipstick more often, it really suits you and is such a statement. It’s probably the thing I tend to wear most often as a “statement” piece, rather than jewelry and such. And because I find red to be almost a neutral. I love the look on you!

In Spain it’s a tradition to wear red underwear for new years eve as it’s supposed to bring you luck for the coming year, but I guess a pretty red lipstick could do the same,especially when it’s from genius Tom Ford haha 😀
I think that this shade looks incredible on you and you should definitely wear it more often seriously 🙂

They say that if you have the right shade, a red lip suits everyone – well, I only recently stumbled across mine and I was amazed at the polish it gave to my look. Like you I’ll probably not be wearing this on casual days, but for a seriously dressy evening occasion, I’m a new convert to the colour!

it is my every day make-up 🙂 I even use the eyeshadow as well, just not the darker shade!
