OUTFIT: unexpected red.
In all honesty, I am not particularly fond of the color red. It simply has never appealed to me, and I don’t see myself as someone who pulls it off well. However, when I spotted this dress, it somehow hit a nerve – in a very positive way. I decided to take a chance on something unexpected for my closet and ordered the red off-shoulder dress before I had time to change my mind. Turns out, the color isn’t so bad after all. Actually, pretty awesome for Summer! While the dress is a bit too see-through to wear it here in Vienna, I simply turned it into a top by tucking it into my jeans, and I am sure that it will also work over a bathing suit for lounging by the pool on vacation. What do you guys think about the unexpected red?
CHICWISH: red off-shoulder dress

I need to get used to it but it’s a nice combo and a nice shade of red, definitely take it with you on your girls vacation to Ibiza 🙂
About the color red, I’m just like you, I have pretty much nothing (1 sweater but it’s more a rusty red)
I have blonde hair and I find that the combination of my hair with red clothes can very quick be/look hootchy.. It needs to be the right tone of red! (And we all know there are many so the search ain’t easy..)

The outfit itself is already very fashionable with the baggy jeans and the dress worn as a top.
I think you should wear more red,it looks fantastic on you and works quite well with the color of your hair.

Rot steht dir super. Ich würde das Kleid gerne noch in einem weiteren Outfit-Post sehen, nur als Kleid für sich! Ich glaube das sieht dann noch besser aus. Zu deinem Teint könnte ich mir ganz dunkle Beerentöne auch wunderbar vorstellen – würde sicher super gut aussehen.

wie im Post geschrieben ist es leider super durchsichtig – daher kann man es als “nur Kleid” leider nur am Strand mit Bikini drunter oder so tragen.

@vicky: kannst du mir sagen, ist deine vlaue offshoulder bluse von chicwish bei den schultern durch den gummi auch relativ eng?
Hab mir die bluse auch bestellt und obwohl ich normalerweise 34/36 trage schneidet mir der Gummi bei den Schultern ein 🙁
Weitet sich der mit der Zeit oder wie trägst du die Bluse bequem längere Zeit??

ohjee das tut mir leid. Also meine Bluse schneidet auf keinen Fall ein und ich kann mich auch nicht mehr explizit daran erinnern, dass das am Anfang so gewesen wäre 🙁 Ich trage normalerweise 38, also müsste sie dir ja auf jeden Fall passen!

I have to say that the off-shoulder dress looks extremely good, definitely something I’d buy, but I love the way you tucked in the dress and made it look like a long flow-y top. It looks extremely good on you, Vicky. I also love the way you styled your hair, it suits your face nicely and those sunglasses are something that I WANT, but, I am afraid that they might not suit me the way they suit you.
