wool cape / wrap for fall - Bikinis & Passports

OUTFIT: from Scotland

Earlier this year my parents drove their oldtimer through stunning Scotland for a few weeks. They included us in their journey by sending daily updates and photos of the breath-taking scenery and sheep. LOTS of sheep! Aside from the photos, my mom also brought back some souvenirs for us and I got super lucky with a stunning wool cape/wrap in the typical Scottish tartan in subtle black. Since they returned from their trip in June, I’ve patiently waiting to be able to wear the cape. Today was unusually warm for November 4th and cargos, a sweater and the cape were all it took to stay warm. Probably one of my favorite and coziest office looks so far!

If you would have asked me 10 days ago, how I feel about the color orange, I would have probably answered something about only liking orange related to a bottle of Veuve Clicquot champagne or the actual fruit, preferably for breakfast. Little did I know that it is a color that actually works pretty well…

Don’t we all love a happy ending? I, for sure, am a sucker for cheesy stories where everyone ends up happy. Without saying, the same goes for stories that involve myself, especially in combination with the endless hunt for a bag. I think I’ve mentioned the Valentino medium lock bag at least a dozen times here…

I honestly don’t remember the last time I have gone 5 days without posting here on the blog, but The Daily Dose is THIS close to launching (tomorrow – ahhhhh!!) and there is still SO much to be done! These past few days have been filled with shootings, editing pictures, writing posts and putting the final touches…
