OUTFIT: aperitivo in Milano

OUTFIT: aperitivo

I just got back from Milano last night and am still in love with the amazing time Kathi and I had there this past weekend. Definitely #bestgirlstripever!! We only had about 44 hours in the Italian fashion capital, but we made the most out of it. The main reason for our trip was the Confession of Design exhibition with some super talented Austrian furniture designers (tomorrow on The Daily Dose), but we also had some spare time to explore the city. The weekend involved lots of gelato, Aperol-Spritzs with every meal (except breakfast …), exploring the Duomo, visiting a Hermès furniture exhibition in an old palazzo on Corso Venezia (major love!!) and much more … there’s a travel diary coming up later this week – so stay tuned for that! On Saturday, we headed to Via Tortona for aperitivo, but when we realized that about 300.000 other people had the same idea, we decided on a more relaxed dinner at the charming Osteria del Binari. With the perfect spring weather in Milano, I decided to take out my new white blazer by SET for the first time, paired with a bit of leo and my favorite black skinny jeans. Black, white & leo – always works, right?

The past 3 weeks have gone by in the blink of an eye, but at the same time it feels like ages ago that I had my last day at my old job. I’ve been on the go non-stop, got on 6 flights and packed/unpacked my suitcase 4 times. Coming home always feels good, but traveling…

As you guys have probably guessed from the title of today’s post, it is finally here: The day I fly to L.A.! I have to admit, this vacation (which we planned around one of my high school friends’ wedding) had me a little too excited the past few days and weeks. To the point where…

  • Back in Bondi.

I am currently sitting in a train en route to Munich, gazing outside and watching the snow covered fields and mountain peaks pass by. Surrounded by the most beautiful landscapes Winter has to offer, it is hard to imagine that just a week ago, I was busy soaking up the last bits of Australian sunshine…
