OUTFIT: autumn / winter must-haves

For the first time this year, it feels like Winter may make an appearance after all. Today we woke up to 0°C on the thermometer and some parts of Austria and Germany even got to see a few first snowflakes. Reason enough to dig out of my favorite key pieces of the season and throw them all together in a cozy look for the office. What are my autumn / winter must-haves, you ask? For one, nothing beats a warm cashmere sweater! It is timeless (if bought in the right color) and will keep you warm, guaranteed. I recently bought this one in a size L and was a little disappointed at first when it arrived, since it was a crop-cut, meaning the large only reached to the button of my jeans. I wanted to return it, but those who know me personally, know that I am extremely talented at procrastination. Turns out online shops don’t appreciate that talent as much as I do, so I missed the 30-day return slot. Forced to wear it, I started layering the cashmere sweater in different ways and it has totally grown on me since then. I have been wearing it none-stop layered over my striped shirt – a perfect match. Add a camel coat, sneakers and a pair of faux leather leggings for an easy go-to autumn look! Happy Monday, guys.

One of my personal highlights from our Winter get-away to Schladming was a day spent way up on the mountain at the Schafalm at 1.900m elevation. Hot chocolate and fries for lunch, cuddles with baby sheep, one of the prettiest sunsets I have ever seen, a little mishap of missing the last cable car down to…

  • OUTFIT: flowers in the snow

For a second there I thought we were really gonna make it through this “winter” without any snow. December and January were unexpectedly warm (around 5-10°C) and snow had yet to be seen. That is until this week. Obviously winter had to make an appearance right when I decided to start shopping for spring clothes,…

  • OUTFIT: an urban brunch

If someone had suggested wearing a total white look to me last year, I would have kindly declined. White is a color that tends to intimidate me, mostly for the fear of pouring a big cup of coffee all over myself. However, in the meantime I have realized that covering yourself in coffee looks bad…
