Teddy Talk & Fluffy Jackets
October in Vienna is that awkward time of the year where the mornings are soaked in cold, wet fog and the afternoons are drenched in sunlight and warmth. You are either freezing because you wore too little clothes or sweating because you dressed for the morning chill and forgot about the sun hiding over it. I guess that’s why they call it transitional season.
Somewhere between bare feet and 100 layers, I have rekindled my love for teddy coats just in time for the temperatures to take a dip. And this is a jacket I have been living in for the entire week.

For those warm afternoons, I am still holding on to my beloved shirt (at least it has long sleeves) + denim combination. My feet are brave little soldiers that rarely require socks for temperatures above freezing, hence I am still strutting my favorite flats mid-October. And as far as the bag goes: Love at first sight! The Dior 30 Montaigne bag was launched earlier this year and it was love at first sight. Timeless, functional and the most stunning shade of “storm blue” (= ocean green, if you ask me), this bag is one to keep an eye on this upcoming season!

As the Autumn light gets softer and the days get shorter, the best remedy is to cozy up in faux fur styles that make you feel like you never left your warm bed after all. The best part? The teddy coats and strokable jackets pair well over jeans but also look great with leather leggings and boots or a fancier silky slip dress once the festive season rolls around.
