OUTFIT: reformation Lucia Skirt | Bikinis & Passports

house hunting in 90210

When I was younger – growing up in Southern California – driving up to L.A. was always a highlight. It was usually connected with some sort of weekend activities and my parents would take the time to drive through Beverly Hills with us kids to go “house hunting”. From my memories, I always loved driving through the quiet neighborhood just off of Santa Monica Blvd and in close proximity to the famous Rodeo Drive, drooling over all those fancy homes that seemed more like castles than houses.

With hopes of bringing back those childhood memories, I convinced Mike to drive through the neighborhood that comes with the well-known area code of 90210 one afternoon. And while the mansions were still stunning (obviously), they did seem a bit smaller than I remembered. This time around, I was more impressed with the perfectly groomed streets lined with picture-perfect palm trees that made for the ideal backdrop to capture my outfit for you guys. Big houses are amazing, but palm trees and the ocean make my heart skip a beat nowadays.

Today’s outfit includes a rare sight: Me with my reading glasses on. I have had these for years and wear them occasionally on the weekends or in front of the TV at night, but usually prefer wearing contacts – especially when I know photos will be taken. However, I am currently suffering from a flu virus…

  • OUTFIT: unique as we are.

While there are many bits and pieces in the fashion world that are repetitive, similar or even the same, it is what we make of those trends that turns fashion into personal style. Style is individual, it is different and it is unique. I am so excited that I get to be part of the new…

  • 72 hours in NYC.

Some might call me crazy for flying to NYC for barely 72 hours, but honestly, I’d do it again in a heartbeat. New York is one of the most inspiring cities in the world, and even just 24 hours would be worth it – especially if you’ve been before. This time around was my 4th…

  • OUTFIT: around town with Sofia

I literally cannot get over the wonderful weather we’ve had this November so far. “Sweater weather” at it’s best, and jackets or coats are (almost) not even necessary! With temperatures around 15°C I’ve been running around town with loarfers, my favorite sweaters, and, my personal highlight: the insanely cute Sofia Coppola Bag BB. I had…
