OUTFIT: reformation Lucia Skirt | Bikinis & Passports

house hunting in 90210

When I was younger – growing up in Southern California – driving up to L.A. was always a highlight. It was usually connected with some sort of weekend activities and my parents would take the time to drive through Beverly Hills with us kids to go “house hunting”. From my memories, I always loved driving through the quiet neighborhood just off of Santa Monica Blvd and in close proximity to the famous Rodeo Drive, drooling over all those fancy homes that seemed more like castles than houses.

With hopes of bringing back those childhood memories, I convinced Mike to drive through the neighborhood that comes with the well-known area code of 90210 one afternoon. And while the mansions were still stunning (obviously), they did seem a bit smaller than I remembered. This time around, I was more impressed with the perfectly groomed streets lined with picture-perfect palm trees that made for the ideal backdrop to capture my outfit for you guys. Big houses are amazing, but palm trees and the ocean make my heart skip a beat nowadays.

  • OUTFIT: uniform

My personal uniform goes a little something like this: black skinny jeans, a silky top, a pretty blazer and a touch of animal print. Depending on the day’s agenda I’ll either grab loafers, sneakers or a pair of heels. The pieces from today’s outfit were love at first sight and so “me”! By now, I…

  • OUTFIT: chasing the sun.

With the days getting so much shorter, it is becoming quite a challenge to shoot outfits with pretty day light. Here in Vienna, we have a ton of fog throughout fall and when the sun finally makes it’s way through the thick haze it is just about to set. Today we were definitely chasing the…

  • OUTFIT: basic

Yesterday we were super busy with an exciting shoot for The Daily Dose all day (it’ll be revealed on Christmas – so stay tuned) and in all honesty, I wanted to wear something super basic, comfortable and easy going! Leggings, sneakers and my new coat from Zara were the main players and trust me, it…

  • VIENNA: big smoke

If you love summertime, a good BBQ and a great location, then I have THE place for you: Big Smoke! Mike and I always love to try new restaurants and places around town, and last Sunday we finally made it to the new BBQ place down by the danube canal. Personally, I have a weakness…
