TRAVEL: a day at the (malibu) farm.
The weather in L.A. is not always as sunny as you’d expect it to be. Especially in May and June, the famous “June Gloom” makes an appearance. While the inland areas are nothing but blue skies, the coastal area can get pretty foggy and gloomy in the mornings due to the marine layer clouds moving in from the Pacific.
However, that didn’t stop us from having an amazing time down by the water. The Malibu Farm was at the very top of my Los Angeles to-do list and I was so excited to head to the Coast for breakfast on the pier. While we didn’t expect the fog to linger until lunch time, we came prepared with leather jackets and jeans. Honestly, I did not mind the gloomy weather one bit because the Malibu Farm is such a bright and cozy place that is lovely even without sunshine. With a “fresh. organic. local.” concept, the food was everything I love and the setting on the pier is a perfectly blissful way to start the day. And around lunchtime the sun even made an appearance and we changed into our beach gear and took a nap in the sand at El Matador State Beach. A perfect day in Southern California.

Ohhhh ja, von Malibu farm habe ich schon sooo viel gehört, muss sicher voll gut gewesen sein, zumindest sieht es so aus! Und die Bilder sind einfach der Hammer, ganz ganz toll!!!
