ANNA Inspiring Jewellery - My Design | Bikinis & Passports

forever mine.

During the last 5 years of blogging, I have shared a lot with you guys. I’ve taken you to restaurants, shared my daily looks, beauty rituals and parts of my fitness and diet. I have written about my travels, about being sick and about my family. As you may have noticed though, Mike’s picture has never made it on the blog (unless you count this post). I receive questions about him a lot, and have even been asked what’s wrong with him, that I never show him off. Nothing! He is the best thing that has ever happened to me, and hopefully that will never change. Which is exactly the reason that I don’t post pictures with him. I adore him beyond words (eww so cheesy… but true!) and I while I love sharing so many aspects of my life with you, he is one that I’ll keep to myself.

While you guys may not see him on the blog, you do see a lot of things that represent our love on a regular basis – maybe even without knowing. Almost every single piece of jewellery I wear is from him, with a special story and meaning behind it. All, except two pieces. One is a delicate ring that I had custom made for myself on my 25th birthday, and the other piece is a gorgeous necklace which I had just made about 3 weeks ago at ANNA Inspiring Jewellery. Both he and I travel a lot, and I wanted something that was always with me. Even though all pieces by ANNA have special symbolic meanings, their custom engraved pieces top it all. Two years ago for my birthday, Mike got me a bracelet from there that has our initials and date engraved on it, and I wanted a necklace to go with it. I know a lot of you have noticed the beautiful piece on my recent outfits and Instagram photos already, but today I wanted to share a closer look at my new favorite, and most personal piece of jewellery. Forever mine.

Fact is, girls can be mean! I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve always found it strange how hateful girls can be towards each other. While guys always seem to get along, we are constantly “in a fight” with someone… That is probably one of the reasons why I preferred sitting by a guy friend…

  • OUTFIT: denim days.

It has been a bit quiet here on the blog this week, and that is because I have been on the road for the past 4 days. Thursday felt like a faux Friday for me because I was heading home to Zell am See for my dad’s birthday. Little did he (or my mom) know…

  • HEALTHY LIVING: one vegan day.

As you’ve probably guessed right, today’s post is a mini (vegan) food diary. Even though I am far from being vegan, I do think there is a great deal of importance on eating and consuming food consciously and skipping the meat every once in a while (#flexitarian). Last year in August, I had a very interesting conversation with…

  • OUTFIT: florals on black

I think that it is safe to say that this outfit from the weekend in Mallorca was entirely inspired by Gucci and their love for beautiful floral prints this season. The dress is an affordable version but channels the print on a dark background and the slippers are obviously also part of the princetown slipper…

  • OUTFIT: a winter walk

It is funny how you take things for granted when you always have them. When I used to live at home with my parents in Zell am See, I barely even noticed the gorgeous surroundings and mountains around us. Now, that I’ve lived in Vienna for more than 6 years, it feels like vacation to…

  1. Wow…

  2. I think it’s great that you keep him private and to yourself. It must be hard finding the balance with what to share on the blog and what not. I am still in the process of learning but plan on keeping some things off the internet 🙂

  3. Dear Vicky,

I think its true and fair you keep him to yourself, and they way you both express your love to each other is remarkable. But the most important thing is not to proof something to other, but that it means something to you…

The necklace is so delicate and pretty… can I borrow the idea??
    Congratulations!

  9. Some things should remain personal ,especially when it comes to love. Looking at other bloggers who had to deal with such nasty comments on social media, when they broke up with they long time boyfriends(which is already hard enough without the entire world taking notice of it) really makes me think that it’s better to keep these type of things to yourself 🙂
The necklace you choose is beautiful since it’s so delicate and simple,a perfect every-day piece. I really like Anna’s jewelry,so I’ll definitely be getting myself a little something sooner or later
