River Island Garden Party #rStheCon | Bikinis & Passports

OUTFIT: flashflood

Looking at these pictures, it is hard to believe that just minutes later, Kathi and I were soaking wet, running across the street in pouring rain barefoot to save our shoes (and to prevent obvious health hazards such as breaking our legs). On the 2nd day of the conference in Dallas, River Island hosted a garden party, which got rained on. They had put up a tent against the rain, but unfortunately the rain turned into a flash flood and tornado warning, which led to the entire party to be evacuated (and to continue at the hotel bar with super strong drinks and lots of fun). None-the-less, I wanted to share my outfit for the night with you guys. Since I packed for sunny warm weather, my party outfits were a bit too summery for a rainy outdoor event, so I decided to add a light sweater over the dress. Mostly for comfort reasons, but in the end I actually really liked the look for a garden party! What do you guys think?

I wish I could shoot in beautiful Marrakech every single day. Palm trees and patterned tiles everywhere you look. Combine that with a pretty sunset and I am one happy camper. Everytime we left the hotel, I made sure to dress accordingly. Morocco is a Muslim country, which means that women don’t show much bare…

  • The Seasonal Blazer

Recently, as I was going through my Spring and Summer wardrobe, I realized that I needed more jackets. Aside from a casual denim jacket, the classic black leather jacket and a white blazer, there was not much to be found for warmer days. That is why I decided to do something about it. “It” being…

Last weekend we celebrated Julia’s birthday at the super cute Jausenstation in Schönbrunn and the weather could not have been more perfect. Indian Summer at it’s best! We were a big group of girls and I decided on a super comfortable…

  • Leave of Absence

Turns out, I took an unintended leave of absence these past two weeks. In all honesty, I cannot recall the last time I blogged so little. It was not planned and not due to a lack of content. It just happened. I usually don’t blog less when on vacation, but considering the 3.000+ kilometres we…

  1. I am loving this outfit! I’m looking fort this Furla bag in Mint! Did you bought in Vienna? May I ask Wich store? Pandorf says they don’t carry it :/ thanks 🙂

    1. Hi Iman,

I bought it in Parndorf 🙂 not even 2 weeks ago and they had about 5 of this color in stock. However, it is not 100% the Metropolis, but rather they call it “Julia” bag. So maybe call about that. They also had it in ocean blue, a nice pink, black & white. Plenty of options!

  3. That is unfortunate that it rained so much! But good thing the shoes were saved! I really like this look with the jumper, because it’s such a loose material, it looks great with the dress 🙂

  4. So ein wunderhübsches Outfit! Die Kombination mit dem Pullover und dem Kleid ist perfekt und dann die Heels und das hübsche Täschchen= ♥♥♥

    Liebe Grüße
