TRAVEL: The Keys.
I can’t believe it has already been a week since our day-trip down to The Keys. Of course, we couldn’t visit Southern Florida without a stop at the place closest to the Caribbean. We started our day with the sunrise and acai bowls at Jugofresh (my favorite juice discovery in Miami), before hitting the road at 9am. From Miami, you can make it down to Key Largo (the most accessible part of the Keys) in just over an hour. Islamorada is about 1.5hrs from Miami Beach. Originally we didn’t intend to make our way all the way down to Key West since it is about 3 hours, but since the drive to Islamorada, where we had lunch at the cutest beach café complete with colorful chairs, was so easy and quick, we decided to keep going. Admittedly, doing the entire trip in just one day means lots of time in the car, but since we love traveling together we definitely didn’t mind. Next time, however, we will book a night at one of the many cute boutique hotels when we travel The Keys, to have more time to explore and check out some of the fun bars and restaurants.

Ohhhh, das sind ja wieder superschöne Photos liebe Vicky, ich will auch eines Tages dorthin schauen, denn es kann ja nur traumhaft sein, so sieht es nämlich auf den Bildern aus!

OMG, die Bilder sind der Wahnsinn *.* Wie süß ist bitte das Café? Leider war ich noch nie bei den Keys obwohl ich schon drei Mal in Florida war. Aber irgendwie hatte uns das nie gereizt, jetzt wo ich deine Bilder sehe muss ich beim nächsten Mal auf jeden Fall die Strecke antreten 😉

Florida ist so unterschiedlich! Die Keys sind schon was ganz besonderes. Deine Bilder wirken sehr romantisch. Freue mich jetzt noch mehr auf meine Florida Reise.
