FOR THE HOME: decorating corners & Mr. Owl
You know that amazing feeling when you FINALLY find something that has been on your inner “loooove but don’t need” shopping list for months, if not years, and it turns out to be a really good deal? Well, earlier this week I was shopping and came across this beautiful owl vase at Kare at a totally reasonable price. I had been craving one ever since seeing this one on Beatrice’s desk via her Instagram. It instantly reminded me of something by Jonathan Adler and was put on my inner wishlist. So, this week Mr. Owl finally found a new home in our apartment and I am soo smitten with him. The vase was a bit too much for the coffee table, so I moved it over to the stairs, where I think it works PERFECTLY with a few coffee table books. And now the corner finally doesn’t look that super anymore.

I find it very good that you changed the place it was..I saw the picture of the owl on the coffee table and I also thought it was a bit…too much for there, if you know what I mean.. I think now it looks perfect =D
I have a question…after reading your last post (congratulations on the Daily Dose by the way!) I didn’t understand if you just started a new blog with Kathi but are still continuing writing this one or if the new blog will substitute this..because I really like both your girls blogs in separate as well xD

The Daily Dose is a new project, that will be a little different than a blog (think of it as a mix of a blog and an online magazine) and we will both continue to have our own blogs.
Bikinis & Passports has been my baby for the past 3,5 years and I am definitely not ready to give it up yet – so nothing to worry about 🙂
