Four weeks until Christmas – say what? With most of my November filled with sunshine and warm Australian weather, I hasn’t really hit me that the holidays are coming up fast. And by fast, I mean I can’t believe that Christmas Eve is today in four weeks. Where has this year gone? Or am I just becoming really old? When I was growing up, it would always be the old people complaining about “time flying by” – back then I couldn’t relate because the next weekend always seemed ages away, now I sort of get what they meant…

Since I am a kid at heart, though, I have been busy writing a letter to Santa that may or may not include a few items on my wishlist. Over the years, I have gotten pretty good at fulfilling my own wishes, but of course Christmas wouldn’t complete without a present or two under the tree. So incase my parents are reading this: The plates are so perfect! Right?

• Aquazzura “Whip It” boots: Ok, I’ll admit it, these transformed from wishlist to closet on Black Friday with an extra 10% off the already marked down price. I have eyed these for over a year now and was so tempted to shop the last year on sale. I didn’t and regretted it. No regrets this year!
• Isabel Marant earrings: With the festive season coming up, I am rekindling my love with statement earrings. Sparkles are always a good idea for the holidays and I feel like these could work for the fanciest of parties but also with just a cozy knit and jeans.
• Rosanna plates: Slowly but surely, I have been replacing our dishes (which we bought 10 years ago when we first moved out from home) over the past few months. Buying table wear is quite the investment, let me tell you that. After upgrading our breakfast plates to these and purchasing 8 new small bowls with gold rims, I think these dinner plates would be a perfect final touch for a decked out holiday table.
• Byredo “Mojave Ghost” perfume: I have been dreaming of having one of the iconic Byredo perfumes standing in my bathroom for ages but never got around to actually picking a scent. In Summer, I sniffed my way through an entire shelf of Byredo and fell for Bal d’Afrique and Mojave Ghost.
• Gentle Monster sunglasses: Love these. And have no legitimate reason why I need them, but then again, you don’t always need a reason…
