Cravings: Karen Walker Sunglasses | Bikinis & Passports

CRAVINGS: eye spy

There’s a little countdown going on right now. Today, we’re at 16 days, and it is time to get excited! Pretty soon, Kathi and I will be hoping on a plane for some fun (and business) in the sun. While it won’t involve any sand or ocean, we have a rooftop pool and 28°C forecast to look forward to. Reason enough to start planning outfits. Obviously the planning process usually just makes you realize, that you have exactly nothing to wear, so we’ve been browsing the online shops like pros. While doing so, I came across some Karen Walker sunglasses again, which have literally been on my wishlist for years! The only problem: They don’t sell them anywhere around here, so no chance to try them on – which would probably be a good idea before spending 230€ on sunglasses… But the longer I look at them, the more in love I am. Now I just need to make up my mind between the classic “Number One”, or the “Harvest”. What do you guys think?

Cravings: Karen Walker Sunglasses | Bikinis & Passports

1. Ever since I got the rose gold brush set by ZOEVA for Christmas, I have been obsessed with those brushes. From my personal experience, they are the best value for money, by far! The quality is great and they work so well. Next on my list is the #221 luxe soft crease as an addition to the #231, which I already own.

2. For years, I have been eyeing the “Number One” sunglasses by Karen Walker. I love how bold and oversize they are, while still having such a timeless shape.

3. The Urban Decay Naked 3 eye shadow palette would be considered more of a suggestion instead of cravings, since I already own it. For months now, these are the only eye shadows I’ve used, and have gotten so many compliments, especially for “Trick” (a super pretty copper tone) and “Burnout” (a soft pink). If you’ve been thinking about getting this baby, do it! You will not regret it – especially if you have blue eyes. I think all those pink, copper and brown hues work soo well with blue eyes!

4. Another one from the category of suggestions: I bought the “gimme brow” by Benefit last week and it was the best 25€ I’ve spent in a while! I feel like I rarely go crazy for certain “decorative” beauty products, as I appreciate good skincare way more. This, however, is an exception! The “gimme brow” is soo perfect for adding color and shape to your brows!

5. The second option as far as Karen Walker goes are the Harvest sunglasses! The sides are a bit more narrow, which I know works well for my face. Ahh, which ones to choose?!

Boots to love! Seriously, I have been obsessing over these cute little Winter buddies for weeks now. Do you ever feel like when something is at the very top of your wishlist, you keep spotting it everywhere, making it even harder to resist … well, that’s certainly been the case for the Isabel Marant Nowles…

  • CRAVINGS: pre-loved

A week ago, Kathi and I held a fleamarket at our office. Aside from the fact that we had so much fun meeting a lot of you, we also had some really interesting conversations about pre-loved items and how someone’s “trash” can be another person’s “treasures”. It got me thinking. What are my treasures? Why…

I’ll be the first to admit that I am a sucker for anything new and exciting. Especially when it comes to healthy foods. I could care less if your body can actually detox or if superfoods really are super or not, I have a cupboard full of chia seeds, goji berries, cacao nibs & co. and…

For the past few weeks, I have been working out 4-5 times per week (mostly to keep up with all of the BBQ parties and ice cream I’ve also been having…). The only problem with the almost daily workouts is that most of my gym clothes are constantly in the laundry – especially my favorite pieces, of…

  1. Dear Vicky,
Your cravings are as beautiul as every time. Personally, I think that the “Harvest” is a bit nicer and delicater than the other model.
    Do they cost the same?
