OUTFIT: Lack of Color The Velveteen hat | Bikinis & Passports

OUTFIT: longing for longer days.

Every year, Winter brings certain challenges with it – at least for me. First of all, I have eczema and super dry skin. A feature that definitely does not pair well with icy temperatures and dry heating air. Secondly, I get sick of wearing the same warm coat over and over again. But I am currently working on solving that problem as seen here and here. And lastly, the severe lack of daylight. While I have learned to deal with my skin over the years and can wrap my head around dressing warm enough to get me through those cold months, I simply can’t adjust to the shorter days. I love summer, I love sunshine and I love light. That is why I am literally counting the hours until we reach December 21st and the days will start becoming longer again. There is something so sad about the sky turning dark around 4 pm. Definitely not my cup of tea. But hey, just a few more days and we’re officially heading back towards Summer. Can’t wait!

It is time for part II of my outfit-series of festive but affordable holiday looks, in collaboration with Pimkie (see part I HERE). • la mercerie

When it comes to the ultimate basics, there is not much that can compete with the classic combination of a white shirt and blue jeans. And while those two pieces are perfectly casual and made to be worn with your favorite sneakers, they also work in a slightly more dressed up look. Most of the…

Last Thursday, the 6th annual Vienna Awards for Fashion & Lifestyle took place. Personally, I love the fact that we have an event right here in Vienna, honoring best newcomer designers, make-up artists, stylists, journalists and everyone else involved in the fashion industry. • OUTFIT: all jazzed up

When we were in Montreux for the jazz festival I was kind of lost in terms of what to wear. We were invited for drinks and dinner before heading to the concert and the dress code on the invite was “smart casual” … after doing a bit of research I decided on pumps, skinny jeans…

  • the forgotten

It rarely happens to me, but sometimes I shoot an outfit and totally forget to share it with you. As you can easily tell from my hair color (3 weeks ago, when balayage was a thing) today’s look is one from the category of “the forgotten”. Since a camel coat and shades of gray can…

  • OUTFIT: unexpected red.

In all honesty, I am not particularly fond of the color red. It simply has never appealed to me, and I don’t see myself as someone who pulls it off well. However, when I spotted this dress, it somehow hit a nerve – in a very positive way. I decided to take a chance on…
