OUTFIT: dressing parisien
Bonjour de Paris! Even though I had 4 years of French in school, my language skills barely manage to get me a café au lait and croissant for breakfast. Which is why I thought: If I can’t speak it, I might as well dress the part. While I was packing for a short 2-day trip to the city of love, I literally grabbed everything that screamed cliché. Striped shirt, check. Trench coat, check. Red lipstick, check. I am actually surprised that I didn’t bring my “How to be Parisian” book just for the fun of it. After a quick stop at the hotel, I threw everything I found in my suitcase into one outfit and added a dreamy pair of Aquazzura heels from Farfetch to the mix, ready to explore the French capital. I’ve always dreamed of shooting a typical Parisienne look, and today was the perfect opportunity for that. Now, if I have any readers from Paris, please feel free to leave me a comment how completely ridiculous my train of thought that went into this outfit is from a French perspective. At least I managed to contain myself before I almost took dressing parisien to the next level and bought a baguette just for the sake of the pictures… instead I settled for a bouquet of white roses, which our hotel casually placed on the bed. Best welcome ever!

Meeeega bequem! Sind zwar recht hoch, aber durch den dickeren Absatz und die Laces hat man einen super halt und kann richtig gut darin gehen.

Ich liebe alle Aquazzura Schuhe (bis auf die Poppy Delevigne Koop.)…ich könnte mich niemals entscheiden, welche ich nehmen sollte, also träum ich erstmal weiter. 😉

Vicky ich finde das Outfit total toll! Ein Baguette unterm Arm hätte das Ganze sicher auch nicht schlechter gemacht. Für mich geht es am Wochenende seit langem mal wieder nach Paris und rate mal was ich einpacken werde? 😀 haha

Das Outfit ist einfach der Hammer Vicky! Und die Fotos due Kathi und Du immer schießt sind ein Traum.
Und Du hast mich völlig angesteckt….ich habe mir Ruby Woo zu meinem Geburtstag gegönnt…jetzt liegt er brav im Regal und wartet darauf, dass ich ihn morgen endlich auspacken darf.
Deshalb gleich noch eine Frage, benutzt du darunter immer einen Lipliner? Ich habe mich nämlich von der Verkäuferin etwas bequatschen lassen, aber ich dachte mir nen roten lipliner kann man ja immer gebrauchen 🙂

Well, it can be a cliché but it’s a lovely outfit! Last time I was in Paris I was surprised by how dark were everyone’s outfits!!! So mcuh black I thought I was in Copenhagen or New York!

Also zur Sightseeingtour würde ich sie jetzt wahrscheinlich nicht tragen, aber ich hatte sie gestern 6 Stunden am Abend an und sie sind echt super bequem durch den dicken Absatz! Man hat auch einen guten Halt!

Die roten Lippen erfüllen das Pariser Klischee auf alle Fälle – ich hab selbst mal kurze Zeit in Frankreich gelebt und alle meine Freundinnen trugen damals auffällig roten Lippenstift. Und den Busen extremst “hochgeschnallt” :-))
