OUTFIT: Al Ain Sunset Desert Safari, Abu Dhabi | Bikinis & Passports

OUTFIT: sunset desert safari

While I am sitting at my desk with a warm cashmere sweater layered over my striped blouse, it is hard to believe that not even 2 weeks ago, I was in Abu Dhabi wearing palazzo pants and short sleeves. A trip to the desert is definitely one of the must-dos when visiting the Emirates. I’ve been on 2 sunset desert safaris, as well as taken a tour with the quads before, and it is always a guaranteed good time (as long as you have a strong stomach). When planning a look for the dunes, there are a few things to keep in mind: It will be hot, sandy and super windy! Try to go for something comfortable, light fabrics and clothes that will stay put, even with crazy winds – check out min. 1:18 of our Follow Us Around video to see what I am talking about … For the occasion, I packed my beloved palazzo pants, sneakers (which ended up picking up about a kilo of sand thanks the the lace) and a light top. A crossbody bag is also a great option, as you’ll have your hands free to capture the sunset and endless dunes with your camera.

  • Beyond Coachella

Just like every year, Coachella is taking over April and everyone’s Instagram feeds as we are currently between weekend 1 and 2 of the über-famous festival in the California desert. Even though I have personally never been (and will probably never go), I do have a major love affair with Palm Springs. Far beyond Coachella,…

Don’t we all love a happy ending? I, for sure, am a sucker for cheesy stories where everyone ends up happy. Without saying, the same goes for stories that involve myself, especially in combination with the endless hunt for a bag. I think I’ve mentioned the Valentino medium lock bag at least a dozen times here…

  • OUTFIT: nothing special

Even though I generally only share 1-2 outfits per week with you guys, that doesn’t mean I don’t get dressed the other days. I usually just pick the look I personally like the most to capture for you guys. Last Friday was one of those “I’m just not feeling it” days. I had spent 2 days…
