OUTFIT: silk slip dress
Traditionally, a slip dress used to be worn as undergarments, but let’s be honest, a piece that beautiful shouldn’t really be hidden, right? Over the years, it has made it’s way out from underneath pretty dresses to stand by itself, which is why I recently got a black silk slip dress. I have been wearing it in all kinds of different combinations and can’t get enough. I love it with some lace-up sandals and a bathing suit on hot Summer days, but it also works with skinny jeans and heels for some date night attire. Can’t wait to wear it in Fall with some flared jeans and a leather jacket over it, or styled with leather leggings and my favorite cozy knit over.

I used to wear dresses this way all the time when I was younger! I remember no one used to do it and everyone thought I was crazy for wearing a dress over my jeans, but I loved it and kept doing it… =) I think it looks very good, I love the mix of black&white and the pop of print the shoes bring! =D
