Holiday Dress With Pandora Jewellery | Bikinis & Passports

OUTFIT: a holiday dress

It is no secret that I am not really the girl who wears dresses. I’d much rather go for a pair of black skinny jeans and sequin top or palazzo pants when it comes to dressing up. This holiday season, however, I decided that a dress was in order for our NYE celebrations (we’ll be in Vancouver at a fancy 5-course dinner with live music ♥). With the trusted advice of Miss Ketch’em, I ended up choosing a sparkly version with long sleeves, to balance out the deeper neckline. We shot the look for a recent Editor’s Pick, and while I hate to admit it … this whole dress-thing actually works. I am madly in love with my new dress, especially when paired with my favorite stack of rings from Pandora and a simple, yet festive necklace! Reason enough to shoot a second look with the dress, right?

  • OUTFIT: northern lights.

Before you guys get your hopes up: Unfortunately I did not see any northern lights during the short 2-day trip to Iceland. The rain was fairly omnipresent, making it impossible to see any northern lights. None-the-less, our hotel had a stunning and super cozy bar called Northern Lights Bar. I can only imagine how breath-taking…

  • OUTFIT: free 5.0

Ok, so I never imagined myself to be a sneakers kind of girl. Don’t get me wrong, I have always loved the look on other people and was all for more comfortable footwear. But with my height and body type, I simply didn’t think it would fit me. Well, turns out I may have been…

  • OUTFIT: time for rain

After weeks of nothing but sunshine and blazing hot temperatures, we finally got some rain here in Vienna. Aside from the fact that the plants on our deck are no longer thirsty, it also felt good to dig out my favorite pair of black skinny jeans again. For an easy-going office look, I stuck to basics in…

  • OUTFIT: it was all a dream

One of the perks of self-employment is definitely the freedom to dress as I like for the office. I was lucky to work in a casual environment before going full-time with my blog, so I have never had to obey any strict dresscodes or rules. However, there are a few key pieces that can make…

  • Edition: Be Inspired

In the past, when someone asked me where I find my inspiration, my answer usually didn’t take much thought: travels. Even though the quote “to travel is to live” really speaks to me personally on many levels, lately I have come to realize that “to be home is to live” is also very true for…

  2. You look really good in this dress, Vicky!
I’m looking for a similar dress for NYE : a long-sleeved dress but the sleeves may not be too tight (I have a bandage around my upper arm so the sleeves have to be a bit loose or otherwise it hurts like crazy. And let me tell you, it’s not an easy challenge to find a dress like this. Especially since you have to like it as well..
How are the sleeves of this dress? 🙂
    Thanks in advance!
