VIENNA: Saturdays at the Prater
On Friday, we celebrated the birthday of my favorite guy. As birthdays tend to have a way of being lots of fun, they also come with a big portion of too little sleep.

The challenge is simple and goes like this: “No carbs for dinner, but plenty of water all day!”. New month, new goals.
Sunday nights are always pasta nights at our place! Usually my sister joins in on the fun and we sit down with a big bowl of spaghetti bolognese and a bottle of red wine to end the weekend.
Last Sunday, Mike and I decided to venture away from our regular bagel place for breakfast and try something new. I’ve been wanting to go to Dots21 to try their breakfast for a while, since the sushi there is always good (the asparagus-truffle roll is to die for!!) and the location is perfect for summer (last seen HERE).
This past weekend I was chatting about my daily smoothie routine with Katja, because I received the amazing Kenwood smoothie2GO last week and have been going a bit smoothie-crazy!!
It has been quite some time since my last fitness post. The main reason for that is that I simply don’t work out as frequently anymore and it feels wrong to me to give you guys tipps on how to stay active, while I am kind of struggling with it myself.
Mike and I both have an insanely large appreciation for good food, and while we love cooking together on the weekends, we also love to experience really special and one-of-a-kind meals at restaurants.
After going through hundreds of photos, I finally put together a little collection of our trip to Dubai this past week.
These past few days here in Vienna have been surprisingly warm and sunny – you could almost call it a little preview of summer.
A few weeks ago, Mike and I made lamb meat-balls, pita bread, yogurt with fresh mint and greek salad for dinner.
