Vacation Ready | Bikinis & Passports

BITS & PIECES: vacation ready.

Even though I have been on the go all summer, it is hard to believe that I have yet to have a real vacation. Aside from 3 days in Mallorca, all of my travels have been work related and I cannot even tell you guys how excited I am for our upcoming holidays this week. I am so thankful for all of the amazing destinations I get to explore as part of my job, but nothing beats traveling with my favorite guy! That’s why Mike and I are off to Miami for 7 days of relaxation and sunshine in a few days. For the first time in a long time I plan on literally not working for an entire week (at least that is the plan), drinking rosé by the pool all day and eating breakfast in bed daily. We have a few restaurants (Zuma, Mr. Chow, …), to-dos & road trips (Wynwood Walls, Key Largo, Islamorada,…) on our list, but if you guys happen to have some great insider tips for South Beach or Miami, please feel free to share. Especially a spot for great Mexican food is still missing on our list, as my personal favorite SoBe spot “limes fresh mexican” seems to have closed since my last visit…

Of course I want to keep the content here and on The Daily Dose coming, so there is lots of post prep in the making this weekend. We’re also having some friends over for a little BBQ later on today to enjoy the incredible Indian summer we are currently having here in Vienna. In the meantime, I leave you guys with some of my favorite snapshots from Marrakech & hope you’re all having wonderful Sunday!!

  • Be mine, Mr. Valentine!

In the 8 years that Mike and I have been together, we have never celebrated Valentine’s Day. Why? Certainly not because we don’t love each other, but rather because my birthday has always been the next day – and that probably won’t change anytime soon. As soon as the clock strikes midnight, it is all…

  • Birthday Snapshots

Don’t ask me how I managed to celebrate my birthday without a camera on hand, but for some reason I totally forgot to properly capture my 25th. Luckily there is a thing called Instagram, so at least I get to share a few snapshots from the amazing celebration.

  • forever mine.

During the last 5 years of blogging, I have shared a lot with you guys. I’ve taken you to restaurants, shared my daily looks, beauty rituals and parts of my fitness and diet. I have written about my travels, about being sick and about my family. As you may have noticed though, Mike’s picture has…

  • Ask Me Anything: Q&A

Well, that escalated quickly! A good 10 hours ago, we were at the airport waiting to board to New York City with a 1.5 hour delay. So I decided to use the question tool on Instagram Stories for the first time and posted a “ ask me anything” call to action. Little did I know…

    LG

  3. Genau solche Texte machen dich so sympathisch!!

    Liebe Grüße,
    Steffi

  5. Dear Vicky how cool is that you are going to Miami!, well if you are up for truly Latin-American food, you could go to La Carreta, is a Cuban restaurant with the best cuban food in Miami, and more specially they have the best Lemon pie in Miami!

    have fun!

  7. Hey
    Babs
