BEAUTY TALK: strobing

Currently, it seems that everyone is raving about a new beauty trend called “strobing”. After years of contouring as the big thing, we’ve now moved on to strobing, which is basically the exact opposite. Instead of making the dark places in our face even darker, we’re now focusing on the lightest parts by enhancing them with highlighter. As someone obsessed with my shimmer brick by Bobbi Brown and all sorts of highlighter, this is one trend that I don’t want to miss. Which is why I did a bit of research and put together a post for beautystories with my favorite highlighting products, which areas of your face to focus on and a short video of how I like to go about strobing. While I am usually someone who prefers a super simple make-up during the week – especially for a day at the office – I do have to say that I loved the red lips. I am not quite sure what it is about lipstick, but the right color can give your self confidence an instant boost and make you feel kind cool, right?

  • CRAVINGS: summer blues

While we enjoyed beautiful summery weather last week, the forecast says lots of rain for the next few days. Feels like we’ve got the summer blues … and speaking of summer, here are a few beautiful blue items that are currently on my wishlist for a bit of ocean feeling!

Keine Ahnung, was daran neu sein soll.

Irgendwie liegt mein Highbeam schon Ewigkeiten und völlig unbeachtet in meinem Make-up Bag rum.
