easy sunday brunch outfit - Bikinis & Passports

OUTFIT: sunday brunchin’

Last weekend we celebrated Julia’s birthday at the super cute Jausenstation in Schönbrunn and the weather could not have been more perfect. I know I just talked about Fall hitting hard yesterday, but the last Sunday was seriously picture-perfect. Indian Summer at it’s best! We were a big group of girls and I decided on a super comfortable look. I even wore my espadrilles again, to celebrate the sunshine. After brunch, Mike and I spent the remainder of the afternoon on our deck with friends, soaking up as much sun as possible … those lazy Sundays with friends are so special and relaxing, right?

Here’s the deal: While I preach about all these alternatives to wearing black during Winter and am constantly looking for lighter colors to keep me warm, fact is that nothing is quite as easy (and timeless) like an all black ensemble. One of the things I love about getting older, is that I am finding myself more and more. I am self-employed and absolutely love my job, I am in an 8-year-long relationship that still keeps getting better on a daily basis and I know what I want for myself and my life. It also translates…

  • OUTFIT: unexpected red.

In all honesty, I am not particularly fond of the color red. It simply has never appealed to me, and I don’t see myself as someone who pulls it off well. However, when I spotted this dress, it somehow hit a nerve – in a very positive way. I decided to take a chance on…

  • OUTFIT: a touch of tweed

With the way the weather is currently acting, we might as well turn our calendars back to April. Sunshine and rain are taking turns like crazy and there’s no depending on the forecast. While I am 100% in a Summer mood already, it has simply been too cold these past few days. For the weekend,…

  • OUTFIT: on Berlin time.

Since Mike had his company’s summer party in the city on Friday and I had some meetings on Monday, we decided to stay the entire weekend. After being…
