OUTFIT: Ready For New Year’s
I am somewhat proud of myself when it comes to this year’s holiday season! Not only am I already done with all my Christmas present shopping, but I also already know what I’ll be wearing for New Year’s Eve. Now, some of you are probably thinking “she’s crazy for picking out outfits 2 weeks ahead of time” – but guess what, we’ll be traveling the week before NYE and before that we’re spending Christmas with my family, so I’d say “better safe than sorry!”, right? Anyways, I spotted this amazing By Malene Birger jumpsuit at GIRISSIMA.COM and it was love at first sight. It combines everything I am looking for in an outfit: a bit of glamour (with the deep blue and smoking stripes on the side), a timeless cut and, best of all, comfort! We’ll spend NYE in Vancouver this year and I am not 100% sure if we’re going out to a fancy dinner or partying at a club – but with this look I feel like it’ll work not matter what we have planned. Vancouver ist wirklich eine wunderschöne Stadt. Ich war von Januar-April dort und bin ganz neidisch, dass du Silvester dort verbringst 🙂
Ich kann euch in jedem Fall den Stanley Park und die Sea Wall empfehlen. Und schaut, dass ihr an einem sonnigen Tag den Look Out!-Tower besucht. Du kannst dann wirklich bis zum Bundesstaat Washington sehen.
Übrigens gibt es in Vancouver am 1. Januar das alljährliche Polar Bear Swim statt, um den Kater mit zu bekämpfen. 🙂 (http://vanevents.goodnewsweekly.ca/2010/12/vancouver-polar-bear-swim-2011.html)

Das steht dir wirklich sehr gut! Wenn es nicht zu persönlich ist, könntest du mir vielleicht verraten wie groß du bist und welche Größe du hier trägst? Ich hab bei solchen Teilen immer bedenken ob es von der Länge her passt oder doch eher zu kurz/zu lang ist.

ich bin 172cm groß und der Jumpsuit ist in 38. Ich denke 36 hätte auch gepasst, aber ich mag es ein bisschen größer und finde vor allem mit Heels dürfen die Beine ruhig etwas länger sein 🙂

Du siehst mal wieder wunderschön aus! Der Jumpsuit ist toll und mit dieser sexy Wäsche drunter wirkt er nochmal viel besser. Ich habe mir übrigens von dir inspiriert jetzt auch eine (Kunst-)lederleggings gekauft, zwar nicht die von Pimkie weil es die in meiner Größe nicht mehr gab, aber ich bin trotzdem sehr zufrieden.
