TRAVELS: arriving in paradise

Even though I still owe you guys part 2 of our Dubai photo diary, I simply couldn’t resist sharing a few first impressions of paradise, aka Kuramathi Island in the Maldives! On Friday we left Dubai and headed close to the Equator – where we’re now spending another week in the middle of the Indian Ocean. We flew into Male and were taken to Kuramathi Island by speed boat. The island is considered one of the biggest in the Maldives, with almost 2km in length and about 600 meters wide. It takes about an hour to walk around the entire island, which we definitely still want to do while we’re here. Anyways, here are some snapshots from our arrival – more to come in the next days!

After 3 days away from the laptop, I thought I’d kick off the new week with a few impressions of what I’ve been up to. A week ago, I left for Vancouver. My 3rd time in Vancouver. • TRAVEL TIP: Genussdorf Gmachl

Usually, by the time I check into a hotel, I have spent much of my time stalking every aspect of it. That’s…

  • VIENNA: ra’mien go

I just recently heard about ra’mien go opening at two locations in Vienna. It is part of the Ra’mien group, just like Shanghai Tan (a restaurant I absolutely LOVE) and serves delicious thai/asian food in big portions! So on Monday I decided to grab lunch to-go from their Wien Mitte location. Once I got there…

  • Cap Vermell.

The island of Mallorca has always been special to me since our family spent a few amazing vacations there when I was young. Far away from the touristy places and Ballermann parties the beautiful Spanish island has so much to offer. Stunning secluded beaches, scenic routes, small restaurants and turquoise water. What’s not to love?…
