TRAVEL: my take on fashion week

You guys probably won’t believe me when I say that I only attended one single show (Lena Hoschek – sooo good!) for Berlin Fashion Week. Personally, I don’t like the hype around all the shows. Sure, there were a few that I would have loved to see, but will miss due to my flight back home tonight, but generally speaking, I am not the biggest fan of the shows. That being said, I absolutely love seeing everyone here in Berlin. I feel like I’ve been running into people at every corner and it is so fun to catch up with all the lovely ladies from Germany. My personal highlight was the kick-off cocktail by Rewardstyle on Monday, where I got to hang out with my favorite girls, enjoy an amazing view over Berlin and have some even more amazing drinks. Call me crazy, but those kinds of events are what make fashion week worth while to me.

I totally get what you mean. When I was in New York for Fashion-week last year, I loved seeing fellow bloggers and connecting with them, but the shows were definitely great as well. And rewardstyle sure knows how to throw a party,i’m still amazed by their great event on top of the empire hotel 🙂
