OUTFIT: these boots are made for walking …
By now, most of you probably know that I am definitely not an impulse shopper when it comes to designer pieces. I have no problem splurging on something, but when I do spend a month worth of rent on something, I want to make sure that I will get lots of wear out of it. Remember my cost-per-wear theory? Since the Summer, I’ve been dreaming about timeless boots for Winter, and this week my new babies finally arrived. While I am 100% in love with the look of my Isabel Marant Cleave boots in black suede leather, I have to admit that they may not be the best option in case of snow and ice. The sole doesn’t have much grip and the suede is probably not the best idea when it comes to slushy salt covered streets, but luckily the Winter has been super friendly here in Vienna. I’m hoping the weather gods love my new boots as much as I do!
