OUTFIT: 2474m elevation

The past 3 days have been one giant check on my bucket list, including lunch with the most stunning view ever, riding with a piste basher and my first ever helicopter ride … There is so much to tell and I can’t wait to share a huge travel diary from what we’ve been up to. In the meantime – while I go through about 1.000 photos & videos – I have an outfit from 2474m elevation at the Timmelsjoch in Tyrol (ital. “passo del rombo”) for you guys. The weather has been on it’s best behavior, and naturally we had to get out of the car at the top of the mountain to snap a few pictures.

Geography lesson: The Timmelsjoch is a high mountain pass that creates a link through the Ötztal Alps along the border between Austria and Italy.

I don’t know what it is about the leo pattern, but I have always found myself drawn to it. Some of the leo experiments in the past may not have gone as planned (at least looking back on it now), but my most recent addition to the leopard-print collection is definitely a keeper. Not only…

There are bags, and then there are bags. The Fendi Peekaboo definitely belongs to the latter. As much as I have loved (and still love) every single bag I purchased over the years, I have recently found my craving for timeless staples to increase while my appreciation for louder pieces that catch the eye immediately…

Every now and then, I love to steal a shirt or sweater from Mike. Mostly on days when he is out of town for business and I miss him (insert cheesiness here). I think the boyfriend-shirt-sweater-denim trend is one to last, because let’s face it: We all love to cuddle up in a sweater that…

The weather this year has everyone confused. One day it is snowing, the next we wake up to 18°C (just like last Saturday) and blue skies. Feels like Spring – in January … The Friday before Christmas was one of those warm days, that decided to show up out of nowhere. Even though it didn’t…

When it comes to the ultimate basics, there is not much that can compete with the classic combination of a white shirt and blue jeans. And while those two pieces are perfectly casual and made to be worn with your favorite sneakers, they also work in a slightly more dressed up look. Most of the…

The older I get, the more I understand why jewels and watches have such a special standing in our society. Why they are usually the pieces we receive as gifts for special occasions and celebrations in life. While I love clothes, jewelry is definitely a more timeless choice when it comes to fashion. And when…
