pink velvet
While all the rain and snow in Berlin last week was definitely no fun, I do have to admit that the snowflakes makes these photos a little more special. Unfortunately, they were also responsible for completely soaking the bottom of my beloved pink velvet pants. I scored them on my way home after work late November without even trying them on. But I instantly knew they were going to be a closet favorite of mine.
Throughout the holiday season, I love styling the pants with other blush pink pieces for an unexpected muted candy-look. In Berlin, I wore them paired with a pink knit and sparkly earrings to a dinner with Swarovski x VOGUE, and on Thursday I decided to dress up the uber-cool Marina Hoermanseder bomber jacket and simple shirt with a touch of pink velvet.
Now I just need to figure out a way to style them for warmer days…

The pants really are something special! The color is gorgeous (and suits you perfectly), but I love how effortless and chic they look. And you’re absolutely right, the snowflakes DO give the pictures that final touch =D

Das ist echt ein einzigartiges Outfit – aber kann mir gut vorstellen, dass die Hose leider nicht optimal ist für den Regen. Sieht aber toll aus.
