I finally added a black hat to my collection and there is actually a pretty nice story to go along with it. So here it goes: I always try to tag all of the brands I wear in my Instagram photos. It helps you guys and sometimes it can also get you noticed by brands. As you probably saw in this post, I got a straw boater hat from the Australian brand Lack of Color back in August and obviously it was in my suitcase for our trip to Miami. Once there, I snapped a #fwis photo for Instagram (this is it) and tagged all of the brands including the according hashtags. Little did I know that Lack of Color has a weekly giveaway for their favorite image, which they regram on their account and honor with a 100$ voucher. And guess what, I won! Since I already have the warmer months covered with my Spencer boater hat, I decided to go for a similar style but in a more winter-appropriate material. They call it The Velveteen and I finally have a black hat to sport around town!
