Vacation Ready | Bikinis & Passports

BITS & PIECES: vacation ready.

Even though I have been on the go all summer, it is hard to believe that I have yet to have a real vacation. Aside from 3 days in Mallorca, all of my travels have been work related and I cannot even tell you guys how excited I am for our upcoming holidays this week. I am so thankful for all of the amazing destinations I get to explore as part of my job, but nothing beats traveling with my favorite guy! That’s why Mike and I are off to Miami for 7 days of relaxation and sunshine in a few days. For the first time in a long time I plan on literally not working for an entire week (at least that is the plan), drinking rosé by the pool all day and eating breakfast in bed daily. We have a few restaurants (Zuma, Mr. Chow, …), to-dos & road trips (Wynwood Walls, Key Largo, Islamorada,…) on our list, but if you guys happen to have some great insider tips for South Beach or Miami, please feel free to share. Especially a spot for great Mexican food is still missing on our list, as my personal favorite SoBe spot “limes fresh mexican” seems to have closed since my last visit…

Of course I want to keep the content here and on The Daily Dose coming, so there is lots of post prep in the making this weekend. We’re also having some friends over for a little BBQ later on today to enjoy the incredible Indian summer we are currently having here in Vienna. In the meantime, I leave you guys with some of my favorite snapshots from Marrakech & hope you’re all having wonderful Sunday!!

Even though I wanted to celebrate my birthday somewhere warm this year, of course I also wanted to celebrate with my friends. The reality check of 2018 has come along a bit sooner than anticipated. Usually, December is crazy busy and then January follows on a much more quite note. Not this year. • coffee in bed.

Sometimes the smallest things can feel like the biggest luxuries! For example coffee and breakfast in bed. It is something that doesn’t cost any extra money or require a lot of effort, but it is something I never do unless on vacation. There is something so luxurious about enjoying a hot cup of coffee while…

  3. Genau solche Texte machen dich so sympathisch!!

    Liebe Grüße,
    Steffi

  5. Dear Vicky how cool is that you are going to Miami!, well if you are up for truly Latin-American food, you could go to La Carreta, is a Cuban restaurant with the best cuban food in Miami, and more specially they have the best Lemon pie in Miami!

    have fun!

  7. Hey
    Babs
