OUTFIT: Isabel Marant Cleave Boots in black suede | Bikinis & Passports

OUTFIT: these boots are made for walking …

By now, most of you probably know that I am definitely not an impulse shopper when it comes to designer pieces. I have no problem splurging on something, but when I do spend a month worth of rent on something, I want to make sure that I will get lots of wear out of it. Remember my cost-per-wear theory? Since the Summer, I’ve been dreaming about timeless boots for Winter, and this week my new babies finally arrived. While I am 100% in love with the look of my Isabel Marant Cleave boots in black suede leather, I have to admit that they may not be the best option in case of snow and ice. The sole doesn’t have much grip and the suede is probably not the best idea when it comes to slushy salt covered streets, but luckily the Winter has been super friendly here in Vienna. I’m hoping the weather gods love my new boots as much as I do!

Before I tell you guys all about our hotel in the Maldives tomorrow, I have one last beachy look to share. And it is definitely a favorite of mine. I’ll take Paris any day – even if it is just for 15 hours en route to the next destination. And even more so when the sun is out and I get to spend the night in one of my favorite corners of the city. Already up in the air again (Corsica, coming for you!),…

Turns out, I took an unintended leave of absence these past two weeks. In all honesty, I cannot recall the last time I blogged so little. It was not planned and not due to a lack of content. It just happened. I usually don’t blog less when on vacation, but considering the 3.000+ kilometres we…
