Playsuit

This summer, I have developed a serious appreciation for jumpsuits. They are the essence of easy. A single piece is all it takes to get dressed. And generally speaking, they are perfectly versatile to take you from casual seaside attire to an evening dresscode in no time. I love wearing my striped linen jumpsuit with sandals and a denim jacket for BBQ parties on the weekends or the office, but most jumpsuits can easily be dressed up with a pair of heels and the sparkling accessories as well.

Today’s outfit is a stretch between casual daytime wear and a more put together look. I styled the super comfortable playsuit and simple white shirt, with heeled (faux) snakeskin boots for a bit of pattern and a black clutch. The best part? The jumpsuit will also work great with a thin cashmere sweater underneath for fall or chilly summer nights. Not that I want to think about colder days anytime soon, but it never hurts to be prepared – right?
