OUTFIT: the beginning of fall

Aside from the fact that it has been pouring since last night, we actually had some nice and sunny days last week, but it is also starting to feel like fall. Even when the sun is out, it’s not as warm anymore, and the nights get really chilly. For the first time since probably May, I got my sweaters back out last week and wore a super comfy look to work. The scarf in these pictures is a new favorite and has rarely left my neck these past few weeks – I scored it during the Net-A-Porter sale back in July and can’t get over how pretty it is.

When it comes to perfume, I am picky beyond means. I blame it on my super sensitive sense of smell. The problem is not that I simply don’t appreciate certain perfumes. The problem is they actually make me nauseous to the point where I get a headache and have to leave the room instantly. Drama…

  • OUTFIT: packing

While I am currently somewhere mid-air between Vienna and London, en route to Dallas, I wanted to leave you guys with yesterday’s outfit. The day was filled with some last-minute errands and to-dos, which means that comfort was at the top of my list of priorities. Meaning: layers and leo espadrilles. See you guys in…

  • Aloha, Maui!

First up for Maui: Getting leid upon arrival! I have to admit, I was pretty excited about this one. I think a lei made of pretty flowers is something that pops into most of our heads when we think of the Hawaiian islands. Just the thought of receiving such a beautiful gift made me happy, and sure enough we were greeted with a pink flower lei and a kukui nut lei (for Mike) as well as some ginger-mint lemonade at the hotel…

Super Outfit!

    Liebe Grüße aus Berlin,
    Verena.
