OUTFIT: sunshine & sequins
Even though Abu Dhabi is a place with hot weather and plenty of pools, it is also a city with traditions. Dubai is definitely more liberal (from what I can tell), and in Abu Dhabi we also saw a lot more locals around the hotels and restaurants. Hence, I tried to dress appropriately for the weather without showing too much skin. Obviously it is o.k. to wear shorts and bikinis by the hotel pool, but in the public areas, I would personally feel rude to walk around with super bare legs and arms or a ton of cleavage. Throughout the past week, I’ve been trying my best to create a good compromise between my summer wardrobe and respecting the Arabic culture. Aside from the fact that my maxi dress has quite the slit, I think this outfit was definitely my favorite from the vacation, especially because I finally got to wear my pretty ISHARYA hand chain (which I had been saving for this trip)! What do you guys think?

Dein Style gepaart mit der arabischen Kultur, dem heißem Wetter und raus kommt ein hinreißendes Urlaubsoutfit. Dieses Jahr möchte ich mich auch unbedingt an dem Maxikleid Trend versuchen.
Finde es vorbildlich wie du dich an die Sitten angepasst hast.
Viel vorbildlicher finde ich es allerdings, dass du uns in deinem Urlaub mit neuen Posts versorgst.
Genieße den bzw. die letzten Tage?! und denke nicht immer an die Arbeit darum geht es doch schließlich im Urlaub.

ich finde dein outfit klasse, abgesehen davon, dass du in so ziemlich jedem outfit bezaubernd bist. allerdings respektierst du gerade durch den (von dir angesprochenen) beinschlitz die kultur des landes überhaupt nicht, da er viel zu viel bein zeigt (was mir persönlich wiederum unheimlich gut gefällt).

Ich finde dein Outfit sehr schön 🙂 Und auch sehr passend für die VAE. Ich war ja selbst Anfang des Monats in Abu Dhabi und Dubai und habe dabei sehr ähnliche Erfahrungen gemacht wie du. Dubai fand ich viel touristischer und Shorts schienen schon fast Gang und Gebe zu sein. Aber Abu Dhabi ist in diesen Aspekten einfach traditionell und man sollte als Tourist versuchen sich der Kultur anzupassen!
