OUTFIT: date night attire
Although you don’t really need an excuse to vacation, if you ask me, we did actually have a pretty good one this time around. Our 10-year anniversary called for some celebrations and we decided to skip the usual romantic dinner for some sunshine and cocktails in Miami. Even though the entire week was simply perfect, we did want to go out for a nice dinner on the actual anniversary. The choice was easy since Zuma is one of our all-time favorite restaurants in Abu Dhabi, and Miami happens to also have a Zuma restaurant. Obviously jeans and a shirt weren’t an option in terms of date night attire to celebrate 10 years, so I opted for a flowy dress and heels instead. I spotted this dress just before the trip and instantly thought of Miami Beach. I absolutely love the pattern, colors and mid-calf-length of it. I think Mike would have probably preferred a simple black dress (don’t all men?), but he did say I look nice, so that was affirmation enough to keep the dress on.
By the way, the food at Zuma Miami was amazing as always, the Rikka & Tonic so good (hello 3 rounds…), but I have to say that the whole vibe of the restaurant is so much cooler and more vibrant in Abu Dhabi!

Ein wunderschönes Kleid! Auch mit den Schuhen absolut toll. Ich kann mir aber vorstellen, dass er ein schwarzes bevorzugt hätte. Anscheinend lieben Männer wirkich vor allem das lbd.

Du siehst hinreißend aus und dieses Kleid steht dem “kleinen Schwarzen” in nichts nach! Ich stimme dir absolut zu – einen triftigen Grund, um Urlaub zu machen, bedarf es nicht, aber wenn es sich anbietet das 10-Jährige damit zu zelebrieren, ist es doch um so schöner. Freut mich, wenn ihr eine tolle Zeit hattet!

Super wieder einmal in Szene gesetzt. Passt farblich alles gut zusammen und der Stoff sieht super leicht aus – ein richtig tolles Sommerkleid. Schade, dass der Sommer schon fast rum ist.

Leider hatte ich ganz vergessen, dass er kaputt ist & die Schuhe trotzdem eingepackt. Auf dem seitlichen Closeup sieht man eh, dass sie kaputt sind. Bin im Moment auf dem Weg zum Schuhmacher 🙂
