#LVICONS – Louis Vuitton Neverfull Epi (Part 1)

Looking at these pictures, it still feels surreal and I can’t believe I got to stand in front of the camera for the #LVicons bloggers project! But let’s start from the very beginning:

As you guys know, I purchased my Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM back in April. I’ve been an admirer of all things LV since I was about 18 years old, and I always wanted a speedy. But over time the Neverfull also caught my attention, and so when the day came to finally make my purchase, the choice was intuition and I went with the Neverfull MM in the classic monogram pattern. It has rarely left my side over these past few months and has definitely become my daily bag. Not only is the size absolute perfection, but it somehow also works with just about every outfit. So when I was approached by Louis Vuitton and asked to be part of their #LVicons bloggers project to present the new Neverfull in the gorgeous epi leather, it literally felt like a dream come true. Not only was it a once in a lifetime experience, but it was also super personal, as some of the pictures were taken with my own Neverfull in Monogram and with Mike by my side (stay tuned for those pictures!). All in all we shot 6 looks, which I will be showing you guys over the next few weeks. The inspiration for the shoot was the Pre-Fall Ready-to-Wear Collection 2013, as well as Schönbrunn Palace, which is such a magical place to me (nothing beats a morning run on the beautiful grounds surrounding the palace).

Here are the first 2 looks, styled in a girly, playful theme, which I loved, since it is so “me”:

You know those days where you’d prefer to simply stay in your PJs all day and nap on the couch? Last Friday was definitely one of those. I spent all day Thursday in Munich and then my flight back home was super delayed and I ended up falling into my bed some time around 1am….

I think I am amongst the few people that don’t mind getting older. As my mom has always said “growing old is a privilege that not everyone gets to have”. So true! Yesterday I turned 27 and even though the big three zero is slowly getting closer, I don’t mind one bit. There is something exciting about getting older. I love my life and the things I’ve gotten to experience the past year…

  1. What I love most about the pictures – your HAIR! So so SO in love with it and just added it to my little stack of “wedding hair to be – ideas” for next summer.

And can’t wait for the pictures with Mike. Are you actually showing him to us? It must have been a great opportunity to have pictures taken with him – super personal (even if you keep the pictures for yourself).

  5. wooow so beautiful! will there be a picture where we can see your from the back? would be really interested in how your hairstyle looks from behind! you look amazing as always

Du bist einfach natürlich (ohne viel Schminke) viel fescher.

  7. Tolle Fotos!

  9. Wow – what a wonderful opportunity and these are such beautiful pics; you look absolutely stunning! Can’t believe that LV now actually released the Neverfull in Epi Leather. A couple of years ago I placed a request for a soft epi Neverfull in either black or mocca, but they declined. Oh well, too late now, but still happy to see, what it might have looked like. 😉
