OUTFIT: Hallhuber Dirndl | Oktoberfest Munich 2014

OUTFIT: Dirndl love

The Oktoberfest in Munich has literally been on my to-do list for years now. It is almost embarrassing to admit that I’ve never been. Luckily, however, that will all change this year! I am probably a little too excited about the fact that I’ll finally get to go this year and even started a countdown! Oh, and naturally I’ve been trying on my stunning HALLHUBER Dirndl on a weekly basis – just to be sure, you know? I am so in love with it and can’t wait to officially wear it in 3 weeks. I got to choose one of their 3 limited edition Dirndl and this one was love at first sight. The fuchsia apron is 100% silk and I adore the pattern of the forest green fabric. Plus, it fit like a glove on the first try. I know that most of you would probably choose nude pumps or ballet flats with a Dirndl, however, the Oktoberfest is less traditional than the Austrian “Trachten” events, so I decided to pair mine with the new ASH boots and a crossbody bag. At first I also wanted a big sparkly statement necklace, but then decided to go for a delicate heart necklace. I’m not going to lie, I am more than smitten with my choices and will be wearing this exact outfit in 3 weeks at the Oktoberfest in Munich!

It is no secret that I am a major denim girl. I love a good pair of jeans more than most other items in my closet and it is usually my go-to choice. No matter if I am getting dressed for an event (a blazer and heels usually help to make denim look less casual)…

Recently, I’ve noticed that my Neverfull hasn’t really worked with some of my oufits – I just felt like the monogram print was a bit too much. I’ve been searching for a sleeker alternative for a while, especially for the office and traveling. I almost couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw that the much coveted Mansur Gavriel black shopper tote (with the prettiest nude / blush lining) was back in stock at Farfetch just before Christmas. 3, 2, 1, miiiiine ♥

  1. WOW!

Liegt wohl an meiner ursprünglichen Heimat Süddeutschland! Eine “sparkly” Kette, würde vlt etwas “over the top” ausschauen?!

#groupie 😛
    Liebe Grüße

  6. Wow… that dirndl is SO beautiful. Love the pattern and detail of the skirt! I went to Oktoberfest 6 years ago and it was everything I had ever hoped of. Have an awesome time! xx

  7. Hallo Vicky,
