hooked on stripes - Bikinis & Passports

OUTFIT: hooked on stripes

It is a complete mystery to me how I have gone without stripes so far. I am probably amongst the last to start wearing the trend, but now I am absolutely hooked. I love how a casual striped shirt can easily be dressed up with simple black skinny jeans, a blush pink blazer and statement earrings. Just recently, I discovered Zoe Karssen via GIRISSIMA.com when Kathi wore her awesome Batgirl shirt. The copycat that I am, I obviously had to have one right away 🙂 This is probably my ideal version of “office attire” – simple, casual and yet still put together!

Lace-up boots have been on my wishlist for years now, but for some reason they never really looked good on me and made my legs feel stubbed and even shorter than they are. • OUTFIT: fri-yay

I have to admit, ever since Kathi and I started working together full time, I rarely dread Mondays anymore and I don’t get overly excited about weekends. We spend our days doing what we love most (plus a bit of not so fun paper work and finances, of course …) and I don’t feel like I need…

  • OUTFIT: back to Berlin.

This week, it was “back to Berlin” for Fashion Week. This time around, I got lucky and Mike also had to be in Berlin all week for work, which meant having my favorite person to come “home” to at night. Even though our dinners usually took place some time around 10pm it was still amazing…

  • OUTFIT: lace midi skirt

Last year I started wearing dresses more during the warmer season, and this Summer I have made it my mission to venture out of my comfort zone a bit and try to incorporate skirts into my outfits every now and then. Starting today! Don’t get me wrong, I have always loved seeing other’s wear skirts,…

  • OUTFIT: flowers in the snow

For a second there I thought we were really gonna make it through this “winter” without any snow. December and January were unexpectedly warm (around 5-10°C) and snow had yet to be seen. That is until this week. Obviously winter had to make an appearance right when I decided to start shopping for spring clothes,…
