FOR THE HOME: new dining area
Our new dining area is finally coming together (see the old version HERE) and I couldn’t be happier with the way everything has turned out. From the very beginning, my vision was to have something light and airy, that would make the space seem bigger than it actually is. Naturally, this did not work very well with our old black dining table and black leather chairs. While I seriously adore our old chairs (my parents purchased them just after their marriage wedding), I was ready for something new! So after lots of going back & forth, we finally decided on 6 of the Louis Ghost Chairs by Philippe Starck, paired with an oval glossy white dining table from Interio, called Paloma. I also put up white curtains by the window, and now it really does feel bright and airy! There’s just one thing left to do: I have to re-adjust the lamp, because with the new dining table it is no longer centered and it bugs the s*** out of me. I am such a freak when it comes to having things in line, perfectly horizontal or centered! But luckily that can easily be fixed 🙂

Wow! Als ich von deinen Plänen gelesen habe, dass du einen weißen Tisch zu den Ghost Chairs kombinieren willst, dachte ich erst, es könnte vielleicht zu steril wirken. AAABER wie immer hast du sehr guten Geschmack bewiesen, euer Essplatz wirkt total frisch und einladend 🙂 Ich denke, dass es so insgesamt auch stimmiger in eurem Wohnbereich ist, da ihr ja ansonsten auch keine dunklen Möbel besitzt.

I like the new table and chairs!! It does make the room lighter and probably also makes it look bigger =D I also like doing the same, making places look bigger and brighter, makes everything feel more cozy!

Dein Einrichtungsstil ist wiedermal klasse und ich bin fasziniert wieviel Geschmack du jedesmal beweist.
Ich hoffe du gibst gut Acht auf die Tischplatte. .besitze denselben Tisch mittlerweile seit ca. 3 Jahren und er weist schon Schrammen auf da weiß wirklich sehr heikel ist. Wenn du Tipps für die Pflege dafür hast wäre ich dir sehr verbunden.

ja, das mit der Tischplatte … 🙂 Ich bin gerade ernsthaft am überlegen solche Tischsets zu kaufen, weil ich befürchte, dass er sonst nicht lange so schön bleibt.
Bezüglich der Blumen: Ich kaufe meine immer bei Blumenkraft in der Schleifmühlgasse. Das ist mit Abstand mein Lieblingsgeschäft was Blumen angeht – die Blumen halten immer ewig, Qualität ist top, Preis OK (ich find sie super, von anderen hab ich schon gehört, dass es ehr teuer ist) und der “Shop” (oder besser das Studio) ist mega schön! Kann ich nur empfehlen!!

das sieht klasse aus – ganz wie erwartet. Du hast einfach einen grandiosen Stil und setzt auf den Fotos alles immer toll in Szene.
Ich habe eine Frage zu den Stühlen: muss man bei denen aufpassen, dass sie nicht zerkratzen (z.B. durch Applikationen an den Potaschen von Jeans o.ä.)?

ganz großes Lob an dich und deinen Einrichtungsstil. Gefällt mir total gut.
Ich ziehe gerade auch in eine neue Wohnung um und habe mich sehr in die “Louis Ghost Chairs” verliebt, da sie auch gut rein passen würden in meine Wohnung.
Meine Frage jetzt:
Da sie bei mir ja auch als Esstisch Stühle fungieren, sollte man ja auch etwas länger drauf sitzen können.
Findest du diese Stühle bequem und würdest Sie deshalb auch als “Bequeme” Esstisch Stühle empfehlen?

Der Post ist zwar schon lange her, aber gerade deswegen frage ich: Wie zufrieden bist Du mit dem Tisch bzw der Platte? Würdest Du ihn als Esstisch empefehlen?
