Ralph Lauren Oxford Shirt | Bikinis & Passports

back to school – oxford shirt

Today it’s “back to school” (or in my case: back to the office) for half of Austria – including Vienna. Summer vacation is over, which is easily visible with a glance at my agenda at the moment. Meetings, events, travels and plenty of to-dos have taken over after a relaxed August! The fourth quarter is always exciting as we’re creeping up on Christmas, and it looks like life won’t get boring any time soon.
For those busier weeks and months, I like to work around some basics that are versatile and timeless. There are pieces that simply work – like a good pair of skinny jeans or a white blouse. I already shared a post about a white blouse as my ultimate closet must-have back in May, and today I wanted to share a look with my new Oxford Shirt by Ralph Lauren. The breathable cotton piqué shirt combines the tailored look of an oxford with the comfort and ease of a polo shirt. And since I don’t like my blouses to look too put-together, I love wearing my Oxford Shirt half-tucked. Some of you may have already seen this look on The Daily Dose last week, but just incase you missed it, I thought it would be more than fitting to kick-off the new week.

Happy Monday – make it a good one!

After 24 hours in Marrakech, or actually just the La Mamounia, I am still not done drooling. This place is absolutely stunning, and I can’t wait to explore the Souks before dinner tonight. Everything is just so beautiful, and I feel like this is pretty close to the dream of 1001 nights. I am trying…

  • OUTFIT: stars on my feet.

I have a certain love-hate-relationship with today’s outfit post. On one hand, I absolutely love the look and all items involved, on the other hand, however, I hate the fact that the prettiest sneakers I own give me the worst blisters. Not once, not twice, but this is the 3rd time I wore these star…

  • City-Suitable Sweats

I don’t believe that there are many rules to dressing “right” and think everyone is entitled to wear whatever they feel most comfortable in. However, you will rarely find me leaving the house in sweats and sneakers. Workout wear is a different story, but actual sweats, the type you wear to binge-watch your favorite show…

The Oktoberfest in Munich has literally been on my to-do list for years now. It is almost embarrassing to admit that I’ve never been. Luckily, however, that will all change this year! I am probably a little too excited about the fact that I’ll finally get to go this year and even started a countdown!…

I cannot believe it has already been 5 days since I arrived in Sydney late Sunday evening after 24 hours of traveling. But it was so worth it. This week has been pure bliss – as you can probably tell by the lack of updates here on the blog. Even though my suitcase is filled…

  1. Ich liebe die Lichtstimmung auf deinen Fotos so sehr (hab ich glaub ich aber auch schon 100 mal gesagt). Das Oxford Shirt steht dir auch richtig gut! Weiße Blusen gehören wirklich in jeden Kleiderschrank!!

Ich bin schon gespannt welche Projekte du im Herbst/Winter so geplant hast 🙂

  2. Liebe Vicky,
solche Classics gehören einfach in jeden Kleiderschrank.

  3. Deine Fotos sehen in letzter Zeit anders aus. Auf jeden Fall sehr schön! Und das Outfit ist auch toll. Die Handtasche macht das Outfit auf jeden Fall “besonders” 🙂
