Not Just Another White Blouse

For years now, I have been trying to figure out what “my style” is. When I see a piece, I instantly know how I feel about it, but I have never been able to put my personal style into words. In all honesty, I don’t see anything special about it. But at the end of the day, I guess that’s exactly the right way to describe my style. I like to stick to things that have proven to work over many years – but with a twist.

For starters, I am a denim girl. Which means that most of my looks instantly have a more casual feel to them due to the jeans I love wearing. This, I like to balance out with other pieces that are a little more special to catch the eye. If I pair my favorite denim with a simple sweatshirt, I add sparkly flats or big statement earrings to the look. When I wear skinny jeans with a white blouse to work, I make sure it is not just another white blouse.
