OUTFIT: wearing madrid
The Birkenstock discussion is one that definitely polarizes, but I have officially joined team comfort and ordered my first pair of “Madrid” Birkenstocks a few weeks ago. I’ve mostly been wearing them around the neighborhood to run errands (SO comfortable), but also started wearing them more and more with my daily looks. I guess once you go birks you can’t go back … Do you guys own any slides? Or do you think it is a no-go?

Wow, well paired, cute and comfy outfit! Birkenstocks were a no-go for me as well, at least outside of my appartment ;), but I have to say the ‘Madrid’ option looks pretty rad! 🙂
I have the same model in brown and also some white gizehs… LOVE them too! They’re so comfortable and fit all kinds of outifts

I am wearing them since I was a little kid as we have an Birkenstock outlet close to the place where my parents live and we usually went once a year to get new ones. However my latest pair is already getting quite old and the cork started to fall apart (that is okay after 15 years though) and I am contemplating on getting a new pair soon. However the boyfriend is not the biggest fan and always threatens to throw them out 🙁 (well, I usually managed to step on his barefooted toes with them so can’t blame him here either). But definitely think Birkenstocks are wearable throughout the day (just not in every office environment).

Hab Größe 38 und an mir sahen sie einfach viel zu klobig aus! Das gleiche Paar in 37 ist jetzt auf dem Weg zu mir und ich hoffe mal das beste 🙂
Tolles Outift! Ich habe selber zwei Paar, allerdings das Gizeh-Modell: Ein klassische braunes und dann jetzt im Sommer hab ich mir noch schwarzes Lackpaar gekauft! Und ich liebe sie. Sooo bequem. Klar etwas speziell, aber ich finde gerade mit Lack oder wie bei die in Silber werden sie auf jeden Fall etwas schiccker und alltagstauglicher. Und du hast recht: Einmal Birkis, immer Birkis : )

Ich finde dein Outfit von Kopf bis Knöchel schön, finde aber Birkenstocks ein totales No-Go. Geschmäcker sind verschieden, das ist klar, aber was ich an der ganzen Sache so seltsam und leicht lächerlich finde ist die Tatsache, dass beinahe jeder die Dinger total hässlich fand, aber kaum wird es zum Trend erklärt, finden sie plötzlich ganz viele “sooo bequem” und “voll schön”. Gute Voraussetzung dafür, dass die Birckenstocks bei den meisten nach dieser Saison in den Schuhschrank wandern und dort versteckt bleiben.
I have to admit that at first I hated them but now I’m kind of into them… I guess I have no personality and I just want everything I see on blogs and Internet 😉 But the truth is that I hardly buy sandals anymore… here in the North of Germany it’s raining most of the time so… what’s the point of buying sandals? I better buy boots!
Anyway, I really like your casual outfit today!

Habe auch die Madrid in silber und ich finde sie superbequem & überraschenderweise auch ziemlich hübsch. Ich trage sie aber momentan trotzdem nur daheim, mal sehen ob sich das noch ändern wird 😉

Ich weiss ja immer noch nicht ob ich die Birkenstocks gut finden soll oder nicht. Ich denke ein Paar anprobieren könnte bei der Entscheidung helfen 🙂
Dein Outfit finde ich auf jeden Fall klasse,gefällt mir sehr gut
Bisher war ich Birkenstocks gegenüber eher kritisch eingestellt, aber dieses Modell (und in Kombination zu dem Outfit) gefällt mir richtig gut 🙂 Überlege jetzt, ob ich mir die auch bestelle
also ich bin voll auf den Birkenstock Zug aufgesprungen und habe die Gizeh in silber und liiiiiiebe sie 🙂 Und dein Outfit gefällt mir auch sehr sehr gut! und bei dem heißen Wetter sind die Dinger genau das richtige 🙂 Daumen Hoch
