OUTFIT: reading glasses
Today’s outfit includes a rare sight: Me with my reading glasses on. I have had these for years and wear them occasionally on the weekends or in front of the TV at night, but usually prefer wearing contacts – especially when I know photos will be taken. However, I am currently suffering from a flu virus in my eyes (who knew the flu could spread to the eyes …) and am not allowed to wear contacts as long as the symptoms of the virus are being treated. In other words, I am stuck wearing my glasses at least until Sunday. Since a lot of you have been asking about them on Snapchat this week (= Ray-Ban reading glasses RB5299) I thought why not share today’s office look with my glasses on and embrace the current look instead of hide from you guys. I personally am not a big fan of my face with glasses on, but maybe it is just a matter of getting used to it. Either way, this is my outfit on this gray and rainy Wednesday that actually feels like a Monday thanks to yesterday’s public holiday. Happy hump day!

Woooow, ich liebe wenn du Brille trägst, solltest du auf jeden Fall öfters tun, denn sie steht dir meeega! Ich liebe auch das outfit, würde ich auf jeden Fall genauso tragen… Und hier auch ein großes Lob an den Fotografen, denn die Bilder sind echt mega geworden!! 😉

Ich kann gut verstehen, dass du normalerweise lieber Kontaktlinsen trägst, das geht mir genauso.
Allerdings steht dir die brille sehr gut! Aber einfacher ist es ohne.
Das Outfit ist genau meins: einfach, ohne langweilig zu wirken, sehr schön!

Liebe Vicky, mich persönlich freut es riesig, dass es bei dir auch mal einen Post mit Brille gibt. Juchhe… bei mir auf dem Blog dreht sich ja alles um das Thema Brille und ich versuche auch, die Scheu zu nehmen, dass Mode und Brille keine gute Kombination ist. Die Brille passt dir wirklich gut und ich würde weitere Statement Looks mit Brille absolut gut heißen. 😉 Eh klar. Alles Liebe Jen
die brille steht dir super gut, die kannst du ruhig öfter tragen. aber ich kenn das, ich trag meine auch nur zu hause, aber als ich die grippe hatte, konnte ich auch keine linsen tragen, auch ein paar tage danach noch nicht und ich fand es so komisch, dass haus mit brille zu verlassen.

ich bin voll bei Dir: Ich trage meine Brille eigentlich auch immer nur am Abend oder am Wochenende und selten in der Öffentlichkeit. Aber jedes Mal, wenn ich sie doch anhabe, bekomme ich so viele Komplimente, dass ich mir vornehme sie öfter zu tragen. Vielleicht wird es ja jetzt im Winter was!
