OUTFIT: arriving in Madrid

Those that follow me on Instagram (@vickyheiler) probably saw that I was in Madrid these past 2 days for the #reimagine design challenge by C&A, in which 8 designers from 8 countries are participating – but more on that in the next post.

For my flight I had to get up at 4:30, so comfort was on the very top of my list in terms of outfit. When ever I travel I try to wear shoes that are easy to get in & out of, stick to basics for jewelry (nothing more annoying than having to take of 50 bracelets at security) and I also stay away from synthetic materials for the top (=flying hair, sweaty, …). So my faux leather leggings, oversized sweater and converse were my choice for the flight to Madrid. Also, I always try to have a big scarf with me, which can easily function as a nice little blanket 🙂

  • OUTFIT: earthy neutrals

At the moment I am absolutely loving neutrals – I don’t know if it is because my skin finally has a bit of color or because I simply grew tired of really bright colors (although some days I still wake up craving bright pink or yellow!). Especially my khaki colored pants have been on constant…

Wasn’t it like super cold to wear converse sneakers? I thought it was snowing and freezing over there xD Maybe because England is full of snow and here in Portugal too
